Tricia Halloran – A self-described ‘new music junkie’ that jumpstarted her career in the music industry when she became a Music Programming Administrator and host for KCRW. Her show “Brave New World” was right there to impulse the indie rock scene out of its niche and into the world. Tricia then became a Content Editor for the Ultimate Band List which ultimately became ARTISTdirect.com. Her career in music supervision begun when Tricia became Director of A&R and Music Supervisor for HUM (soundtrack creators for brands such as Honda, Citibank, Lexus & Apple). Tricia has a Computer Science major from UCLA (badass, we know). Through music supervision, Tricia was able to combine her creative skills with her computer programming mind. She uses organization and managing as much as her right-brain abilities and musical knowledge.

One of Tricia’s most recent works is Netflix’s plot-twist filled ‘Dead To Me.’ Starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, the show follows the story of two widows who meet at a grief support group and become best friends – or at least that’s what they want you to think. Dead To Me is a rather dark sitcom, filled with mysteries and wonderful one-liners. From Judy Garland and The Beach Boys to The Police and Whitney Houston, Tricia did an intricate curation job that allows the viewers to navigate the complex themes of death, anger, and betrayal while reflecting the undeniable friendship and love the characters slowly but surely build throughout the series. Some of her notable past television works include classics like The X-Files, Castle, and Fargo.

In the film, Tricia recently supervised Jason Reitman’s ‘The Frontrunner‘ (2018). Starring Hugh Jackman, the film follows U.S. Senator Gary Hart’s presidential campaign and the consequences of the man getting caught in a more than scandalous love affair. And ‘Tully,’ the story of a struggling mother of three who forms a very unexpected bond with the nanny she hires to look after her newborn child. Tricia is currently working on director’s Rachel Winter music industry drama ‘The Space Between’ to be released later this year.

When she’s not diving headfirst into the music, you can find Tricia somewhere in Los Angeles cheering on the Dodgers, watching F1 races or exploring modern art and architecture. You can follow Tricia on Twitter right here, or check out her website.
